  • The Aldeburgh Society presents Craig Brown – Biography: A Slippery Art

    Craig Brown will talk about the hazards of biography. He was awarded the 2020 Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction for “One Two Three Four: The Beatles in Time” and the James Tait Black Prize for “Ma’am Darling: 99 Glimpses of Princess Margaret”. His most recent biography, “A Voyage Around the Queen”, acclaimed by the Sunday Telegraph as “a very unusual masterpiece” was a top ten bestseller. He is currently working on a book about Sigmund Freud.

He headlines a show featuring local talent taking first steps on the stand-up comedy ladder. The support acts are mini-sets from the participants on compere Louie Green’s Stand-Up course.
