Cashpoints in Aldeburgh are located at the supermarkets, including the two on the way in to Aldeburgh at the Leiston Road roundabout. It is possible to walk via footpaths from the town centre to the out-of-town-centre supermarkets via King’s Field.

Public toilets in Aldeburgh are located on the seafront and near the High Street.

Parking on Aldeburgh High Street is subject to time restrictions as displayed on the signs in situ. Traffic wardens do patrol regularly.

 

The Scallop shell sculpture is a public art installation in steel by Maggi Hambling, located on the beach adjacent to Thorpe Road car park, just north of Aldeburgh Moot Hall.

There are a number of long stay car parks in Aldeburgh, located near the roundabout on the approach to the town centre (Kings Field), at Fort Green to the south of the High Street  and on Thorpe Road to the north of Aldeburgh Moot Hall.

Aldeburgh welcomes responsible dog owners and there are many great circular walks for people and their pups to enjoy around the town and its coast and countryside. Choose from  shorter outings or longer ‘walkies’ options.

Please note that dogs are required to be on leads on paths crossing North Warren Nature Reserve and beach restrictions apply throughout the summer period.
