David Hockney at 87 is a national treasure, but can he be considered as part of the great British landscape tradition alongside Turner and Constable? Hockney is a prolific portrait artist. Is he in the same street as Reynolds & Hogarth? Bill Crow will be exploring nearly 150 works by these artists suggesting some thought provoking conclusions.

Raised in Suffolk, Sophie Crockett's art is shaped by a fascination with storytelling, nature and the enduring meaning in legend and mythology. She works primarily in oil and charcoal and brings narrative depth to her artistic practice, reinterpreting tradition through a contemporary lens.
