The world has never needed comedy more than it does today. That’s why TV comedy producer Paul Schlesinger and writer Jon Canter have created the Aldeburgh Comedy Weekend. The first weekend includes stand-up, improv, theatre, and even a showbiz awards ceremony: The Lunchtime Achievement Award for Services to Comedy, which this year goes to Alison Steadman.
